Upper school history faculty at a Charlotte independent school, I’m a scholar with a wide range of transnational teaching and research interests. Over the span of 8 years I taught undergraduate and graduate courses on the History of Sexuality in the Americas, Gender and Sexuality in Latin American History, European Women’s History, and Feminist Theory. Currently at Providence Day School, I teach World History, AP World History, and Genocide Studies. My research examines the gender and transnational impact of the Spanish Civil War and exile, particularly a feminist reading of American women’s productions after witnessing the civil conflict in Spain.
